Tsk Tsk Carabetta. Thanks for giving me the worst living experience of my life. Disclaimer: if you are an individual who works hard and likes to come home to peace and relaxation, the Carabetta company is not a good plac e to live. Heres the reasons why:-Carabetta enters your apartment whenever they feel like it. They say they give you notice...sometimes they do sometimes they dont. They hold multiple inspections throughout the year and have no problem entering your home while you are at work.-the walls are thin. I will try to attach a photo for evidence. The Carabetta uses cardboard and cheap plaster to make their walls, so if your TV is not on, you can have a conversation with your neighbor through your wall. There is no sound proofing.-snow removal occurs after 10am. Be prepared to shovel every snow storm if you work early in the morning.-the office staff are ghetto and poorly trained. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism and customer service as I have with Carabetta. Yaritza, the employee in the sunset office that is responsible for evictions, inspections & questions/complaints never answers calls & emails, her voicemail is always full, she will promise you new counters/cabinets and never fulfill them. She has no passion or drive to help and is extremely ghetto and hard to communicate with. I feel sorry for myself for having to had dealt with this level of incompetency for the duration that I did.-You should move here if you enjoy coming home to hearing children running and yelling in the apartment next to you.Carabetta lured me in with a cute apartment, full basement and free electricity.Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way. more ... hide ...

The complex is horrible. It is built on swamp lands so the basements flood all the time and theres mold. All they do is paint over the mold. The windows are old metal windows and the apartments arent insulated. S o theres a big draft and they barely have the heat on. Navigate, the Waterbury Health Department, and CT housing rights do nothing about the living conditions. So that leads you to starting a civil suit. The management changes constantly and they dont know what theyre doing. Celina Perez is the current property manager and is very rude and disrespectful. There is no professionalism or proper communication. They discriminate. They will tell you that you owe money with no explanation as to why. Do not pay it until they have an explanation with proof as to why you owe money. Do not put your rent in the mailbox, always hand it in in person and get a signed copy with the date and keep forever because these people are frauds. They do not plow the complex only the parking lots or clean the walk ways. Most of these buildings do not have a parking lot so you have to park on the side of the streets within the complex. They claim the city is supposed to plow but the city says theyre supposed to. Maintenence changes constantly and their staff dont wear name tags or company shirts so that you know who they are. This place should be shut down period. No one should be living here. If you have nowhere else to go then I guess you have no choice. Please find somewhere else to live its not healthy or worth it. Ive been trying to get out of here within two months of moving here and its 3.6 years later and still here sadly. more ... hide ...
