Here it is the 1st of April 2019. Saturday March 30th, 2019 Had a problem with a clogged toilet for the first time in over 2years, called the maintnenace manager and within 30 minutes he was over here repairing the toile t. His professional expertise, he had the job done in less than 45 minutes and had the toiilet back up and , well flushing but not flushing and draining as well as it use to. Ive taken special care in always buying the toilet paper that would deteriorate immediately upon touching the water.Monday April 1st went to use the toiilet to relieve myself from all the coffee I have been drinking late morning and early afternoon. Went to flush the toilet but instead of draining immediately the toilet just continued to fill with water and not drain at all. Called the apartment manager and explained to her we had a little bit of a problem this weekend with the toilet getting clogged and that the maintenance mgr was able to get it unclogged this Saturday, but I then preceded to let her know I had just finished relieving myself and the toilet would not drain, and just fill with water. Now in most cases a professional apartment manager would automatically say I will get our maintnenace person out there to fix it again. But oh no the apartment manager (name will not be typed here) decided to give me a little education on maybe I should because I am taking opiates take some stool softener to aid in not clogging the toilet. Let me say she may have thought she was being kind but it was far from being kind was what she was doing. I am so very embarrassed at the conversation she had with me and my heart BPM rate jumped from 78 to 89, my hands and arms are shaking. It was the most embarrassing talk for a 60 year old man to have had with a young woman. I am some what glad I will be moving out of this complex by August 11th when my contract is up.Quail Call Apartments A Seren Place, A Private Locale tucked away in the backwoods close to the city of Albany, Schools, Churches, Walmart and Walgreens. Have I forgotten Popular Fast Foods Places. I would say that the apartment I am in was clean and well kept, with water (included). Attic space and the apartment came with space for washer and dryer. It did have Clean carpeting a built in BookCase. You can have either Cable TV or Direct TV, AC and Heat. So why not 4, 41/2 or 5stars? I find there maintenance team was slow to fix and repeated requests to fix things like the heating coil on the stove which has a short in it, minor fix, the LA front storm door no longer gives full axis into the apartment after they had done a full repair of All the buildings flanges, another minor fix on my apartment and today I found a very slow leak under my kitchen sink witch could have been over looked by staff, former tenants and current till now which will be reported today. After reporting the slow leak under the kitchen sink, everything was fixed a short time (days after the hurricane). We have had a major Hurricane Michael just recently which pushed minor things back for two weeks but currently should be back on track right now! Lets hope so. All was fixed very fast after the hurricane. The LADYBUGS AND STINK BUGS If I were to raise the temp. these bugs would infest my apartment. Just above where I sit to watch TV they crawl on the ceiling. I have saved the ones I have found in my hair, sofa and carpet, they are driving me nutz!!!
