I had my granddaughters sweet sixteen party here on the top floor and it was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the glow party. This facility was affordable and people friendly. I recently visited a friend living here and her a partment is beautiful. I highly recommend renting the space here for your next event. more ... hide ...

I am in the process of looking for a place for my mother and happened to run across Hammond Elderly Apartments while being stopped by a train on Sohl Ave. My first impression of the building is that it was well taking ca re of. The grass was cut, the grounds were clean, and the place looks inviting. I stopped in to get more information about the property and reached the Service Coordinator office. The Service Coordinator was gently and polite and gave me all the information I need. I will be bringing my mom soon to apply. more ... hide ...

Hello, my husband and I are both disabled. Marvin is in a Hover round power chair, and I use a Rollator Walker. We were the first ones toove in here, and are thankful everyday for our beautiful apartment. It is totally handicap accessible. Even the shower area makes it very easy for us to safely get our shower. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. We also have Bingo once a month which is enjoyed by all who attend. The Mobile library bus comes twice a month. It is conveniently located near IMA for Doctors appointments. Come and join us here at Patterson Point. You will be glad you did. Horrible treatment by woman attendant/owner(?) who is usually there with a man who I suppose is her husband or business partner on Sunday evenings. She is terribly disrespectful toward LOYAL CUSTOMERS like me who have be en spending over $40 a month in quarters there. On my last visit she was trying to browbeat customers into leaving before closing time. I have never been anything but friendly and polite to this woman, yet she ignored me when I greeted her (wait, shouldnt she be the one greeting me, the customer?), then a few minutes later she had the nerve to say, Youre not going to take as long as you did the last time, are you? Because that was just crazy! Needless to say on that prior visit she never made it known to me that she had a problem with anything. Then she kept asking me if I was almost done. I was so shocked I was practically in tears, as Im not one for confrontations. She proceeded to lock the doors on me 7 minutes before closing time when I was out loading stuff to my car. I had to knock on the door twice to get her attention as she stood there doing nothing and pretending not to notice; then gave me a dirty look when she finally walked over to activate the automatic doors two minutes BEFORE closing time to let me back in when she knew all I was doing was taking stuff out to my car and coming right back to get my one last bag. I have never received such poor treatment as a customer anywhere¦the experience left me dumbfounded.Nobody likes doing laundry anyway, and having to come up with the right amount of cash and do it at a public place on THEIR time is a hassle, indeed. But to get treated like absolute sh*t ON TOP of all that? No thanks. As I walked out the door for the last time, I assured her she wouldnt be seeing me again. more ... hide ...
