These apartments have no ac. Gets upwards of 78-83 degrees in the apartment. Called to ask what I could do. They said They are 30 years old and have no central air, you can go buy a window ac unit. The apartment is very out dated, had holes in different areas and in the storage Closet had a spot where an outlet was cut out of the drywall and wires were left hanging. No lights in the bedroom or living room. Sink is old and the water will often times come out brown. Has no microwave or dish washer. The oven isnt bad but from it being so old the rubber liner melted the first time we used it, I replaced it and its been alright ever since. In the winter the apartment stays warm but if you set the thermostat to 70 it will often times reset itself to 75-77 degrees. So I often just had it turned off and even then you can still hear the apartment heating itself. You literally have no control over the temperature of your apartment. The bugs crawl under the door at the bottom of our steps. I got door liner to keep this from happening. There is a lot of things you need to make these appointments comfortable. On the bright side the new manager is very nice and they are very quick to get you into the apartment. I just recommend when doing a walk through take pictures of everything, Any damage you see before you move in. That way when moving out you have on record the damages already done before you. Or they will charge you for it. It saved us by taking pictures. They are very eager to fix the little things on these apartments but will try and get you charged for it. Overall the only reason I give these apartments to be star is because the leasing office was nice. Had they been rude I wouldnt even give them a star. more ... hide ...

Here is my most recent review and I will review a year from now just to keep a record of how things are progressing.A true community as you get to know your neighbor and attend many social events whether it is playing c ards, mahjjong, horse racing, bingo or various seasonal events. The building is beautifully kept and attractive. It is always a pleasure to show a friend or a potential resident around the place and always the response is very positive. It is a good safe place to come home to. The apartments are a good size and the attraction of the amenities such as an in apartment washer and dryer and dish washer are quite handy. Stone Ledge is not lacking in any creature comfort. Glad to be here!! more ... hide ...

I have lived here 3 and 1/2 years. Its a nice apartment complex. The staff is helpful, the apartments are quite roomy, and its a nice size complex. Its small enough to be cozy and you know your neighbors.....but it is bi g enough to have a variety of people to interact with. The residents are very welcoming to newcomers. I love the large windows and it is nice being a block away from Seneca Lake. Things are not always perfect, but then...where are they? I am glad I am here....and so is my kitty. more ... hide ...
