A decent place. Rent is affordable. As with any low income building some residents appreciate their apartment and low rent and some are not appreciative. Not enough washers and dryers. Six washers and six dryers for 100 a pts. Elevators need replaced. The bus stop at door is great and convenient. Some residents should be in personal care or skilled care and this is also typical of senior buildings. The apts. are comfortable and fine for one person as they are one bedrooms. Each apt. had individual heating and cooling which is great. Tenant controls their own apt. temperature. The new manager is great and many tenants are looking forward to this new manager cleaning up many messes due to the prior manager letting many things go due to his incompetence and outright laziness. more ... hide ...

This place is disgusting. The management there is the worst Ive ever seen or heard of. A child would have more common sense to better manage this facility. I have a family member who had been waiting on the list for an apartment for well over a year. They called her and told her she could move in two weeks ago and to be there on a certain day to sign all of the papers and pick up the key. My cousins and I all took off of work that day so we could help move her quickly. my grandmother called the office the day before she was to move in to confirm everything and the secretary told her that she couldnt move in because there was damage done to the apartment and it needed fixed first and that it would take a week. So not only were they not going to bother to call my grandmother in advance to let her know, but our whole family wasted the day we took off from work. One week later my grandma tried calling the office to see when she could move in and no one would return her phone calls for over a week. My grandmother was getting upset because she had already made previous arrangements, with the building she was staying in, to move out and her apartment was filled with moving boxes and difficult to live in. She ended up tripping and falling in her apartment because of all of the boxes. Shes 82 years old!!! She cant be falling and ending up in the hospital! That whole week my mother and I tried to get a hold of anyone from that building; leaving messages and calling frequently. Finally my mother decided to go up to the office in Erie to talk to someone before calling the Legislators office and the lady there told her she had been on vacation. What a load of horse $h*t! I dont care if she was going on vacation or not she should have taken care of the matter or delegated it to someone who could. To shorten this story a bit, my mother left the office with the confirmation that my grandmother would meet with someone the next day and she could move in. THEN... the lady at the office calls my grandma 10 minutes later telling her that she cant move in, saying she doesnt qualify anymore because she receives too much money every month... My grandmother called me crying her eyes out now shes stuck in a situation where she doesnt know if she even has a place to live. LIES LIES LIES.. that lady shouldve done her F***** job and took care of that before she told her she was qualified. I cant even describe how mad I am without making any threats. I dont understand how the management there can be that stupid! more ... hide ...
