Do not rent from these people i am a current resident and managment is the worse there is very unethical business tactics and unwillingness to work with residents. In example I am buying a home I let them know they say if I use there realitor i dont have to pay termination break fee be cause realitor gives them a kick back of commission thats extremely unethical. I use realitor not good and acted unprofessional when I terminated her services so i decide to use my own realitor and pay the termination fee. I go put in my 60 day notice they require and want termination fee up front our will not take my notice i try to explain that my break fee check is coming when i close on house. Nope the manager Shannon says it has to be upfront our can not take my notice causeing me to keep apartment longer. I understand i have a lease and willing to pay my termination so they still getting there money just very greedy, rip off, unwillingness to work with residents and unethical company STAY AWAY. more ... hide ...

Never new what renting was supposed to be like untill I rented here. When things break they are fixed. From previous experiences I seriously had a fear of reporting issues, thinking I would always be charged or blamed, b ut I actually feel at Heatherwoods they were totally fair. I have five sons, lived there for two years and got every penny of my security deposit back, no where and I mean no where is that fair. Dana worked super hard to get me into the apartment as well. Used to be a safe place for low income elders, now full of lazy 20-30 year olds who do nothing but int imidate. Need more section 8 housing for them and leave the elderly ALONE!
