I have lived at this location for 10 years, and overall it has been a positive experience. There are other reviews here, that do not accurately describe the circumstances. One such review was written by my next door neig hbor. (a 1 star review) In the eight years he lived here, he was given much more latitude by management, that in my opinion, he had any rights. If i were the management here, he would have been evicted about 6 years before he was. (Legally- for cause) So his review was bias, at the very least. Being evicted and served with a no trespass order afterwards- should certainly be taken into account when considering his review.Germanna Heights Apartments is not a perfect community, but short of the garden of Eden, i dont believe one has ever existed. I live here with & have taken care of my Mother, and every member of the staff has gone out of there way to accommodate my Mothers special needs, and treated her with nothing but the utmost respect. We live at Huckleberry Court, and have been here a few years. Its one of the nicest apartment (townhouse) complexes weve ever lived in. This is a subsidized, affordable housing complex, so they rate your rent and utiliti es on your income. There are 2 parking places for each apartment given, but extra parking is available. The manager, supervisor, and repair men have all been kind, concerned and courteous; but sometimes it takes awhile to get things fixed. The repair men are stretched not only over Huckleberry Court, but across all of the apartment complexes owned by the company, so it is hard for them to get to everyone quickly. You need to get your request in right away, and check on it again so it isnt forgotten. The company needs to replace some appliances that are worn out, but they stretch it out as long as they can because of the cost. We were sad when they took away the childrens playground, but (having lived in other apartments before) know that if equipment becomes dangerous to use, it has to be removed so people dont get hurt. Part of the problem is careless people who are rough on their homes, dont clean up after their dogs on the common grassy area, etc. make it harder for everyone else. If you want to live in a nice place - treat it nicely, like it is your own. If you are disabled and need help in your place, there are places like New River Valley Disability Resource Center you can call and ask them to help. more ... hide ...

nice place or was No real onsite office staff and you cant get a live body when you call their number Building support has really dropped off recently and an increase in rent for seniors A couple of years ago it was very nice now its run of the mill nothing special Staff are in orange Virginia which is 3 hours away 188 mile more ... hide ...
