Hello we are looking for a 4 to 5 bedroom single family house We are New to the section 8 housing choice program We have been living in Coal city IN at the same location for the last 3 years We have a landlord that refuses to fix anything in the home and hasnt in the past 3 years He promised us a better trailer then the one we are in since we moved in but has not done so Our front and back doors do not lock we can not even put a door know in the presence door as the frame is busted and has been since we moved in he promised to get new doors and has not The septic has been busted and leaking since the 3 day we moved in he called the place to fix it but when they came out they couldnt find the tank and told the landlord to find it and call back This was 3 years ago It is so bad now that we smell the septic in our home We have had to replace all the ceilings and flooring through out the the trailer and he has not given any rent discount or even bought the materials to fix anything August last year he raised our rent from 350 a month to 650 a month without any reason We have been looking for a place to rent for the last 2 half years as he is not doing as he promised My kids areEli is 18 just turned with a jobJacob 16 with a jobNaomi 13 Calvin 8Bonnie 6Dorothy 4Violet 4My bf of 10 years has a full time job at Frantz out of bloomingtonMyself I just was able to enroll my twins into head start full time a d I have applied to many places I have a part time position at Owen Valley Middle school kitchen help just waiting on my background check to be completed We have 4 vehicles 2005 Honda piolet2004 monty carlo2005 chey Silverado2005 Ford explorer We have a riding mower2 push mowers2 weedeatersWe are looking for a home with a fenced back yard for our kids to play in We do have a 4 year old coon hound that is house broken very good with other pets even cats very good with other people We have our owen washer dryer refrigerator stove Our family has to find a home by February #*#*# hidden# we have the income to payment just need help with the high prices of having such a large family I have all my rental records for the last 3 years My kidd are very well behaved and A B in school We are a very responsible family just need better housing for our family We are in a 2 bedroom house trailer and have has DCS in our home many times and have always a closed case Our Land lord is a scum lord Our well pump went out 2 days before Thanksgiving we called and told him He brought over a used well pump and told us if we wanted water to fix it We did we drove around and called around for 2 days to find the parts that was needed to fix the water and had to pay out of pocket for that as well We need a home We can have the deposits with out tax checks Or even get help with deposits if something comes available sooner Please pray about it and consider renting to my family Thank you and may God lead you in everything you do We qualified for a 7 bedroom voucher

I have rented from Kenneth Lawson for the last 3 years and before that we lived with my sister I was caring for my mother which has a massive stroke and need 24 hr Care Before that we lived in TN only came here to help my sister care for my mother She has since passed and my kids love there school Eli is a wrestler and jacob is in band We have decided to stay in Indiana so they can finish there school out My credit is about a 610 but I am working on that as well I have a old gas bill and a old phone bill I am trying to take care of Our light bill now runs about 150 a week on pre paid lights with REMC Our home has holes in the floor where the walls are separated from the floor we have tryed to fix this but its just getting worse
