My name is MsThompson i am interested in porting out to conneticut I currently live in Yonkers in a 3 bedroom apartment i been here for about 5 years now The apartment is to small for me and my two boys they have sprung up in the past years also i wasnt really looking at the small cons when renting like the fact we only have two small closet in the hallway of the apartment no closets in none of the bedrooms landlord been promised to concrete backyard its been 5 years now still dirt back there which brings bugs into apartment from yard centipedesspidersfield mice etc all types of ground dirt bugs Boys have nowhere safe to play for years asking landlord to fix things is always a hassel There is 2 males plus myself one female i have CVR voucher white plains new york I have 2 bedroom voucher but i am in 3 bedroom because as long as price of apartment is in same range of voucher i can have the apartment it doesnt matter how many rooms the unit hasas long as price isnt beyond voucher price range So i would like to keep my kids in seperate rooms not have them get older and have to share a room or me have to take the living room in order to give them seperate roomsSo i called conneticut program to find out how the port out works and is it the same thing like CVR the worker in conneticut said yes i can have a 3 bedroom the same way i have now as long as price of unit doesnt exceed voucher price I also receive assistance from Department of Social services They pay aportion of my rent and my voucher covers the rest of total rent payment I have brokers fee approval as well one months rent and security deposit
