After a messy divorce and unstable housing for almost 5 years, Society of Hope was a miracle in our lives for my son and I. It is possible to have stable housing which I can afford as a single parent, and go back to school as a student, which would never be a possibility the way the rental and housing market is anywhere else. More so, my son and I were welcomed in a community of other single parents with life events in common, and children all around the same age as my son! Its incredible. My neighbors are all my best friends, and their children are my sons! In the summer ( and mind you winter) the kids play outside all day and the area we live in is safe! We really are one big family and we all feed each others children and have regular hang outs! I am extremely greatful... Thank you, Society of Hope for making this dream a reality!
