We were shown a very pretty staged apt and thought our apt that we would be getting would at least be ready but there was Nothing ready about the apt It was Feb and there was snow on the ground The night we moved in we walked into the apartment and t We were shown a very pretty staged apt and thought our apt that we would be getting would at least be ready but there was Nothing ready about the apt It was Feb and there was snow on the ground The night we moved in we walked into the apartment and the central unit would not even come on Turns out it was wired completely wrong My husband who was a home builder who had built a lot of houses had to inspect the hvac unit himself because when we called maintenance at first they never came and we were cold My husband looked at the unit repaired and serviced it himself and got it working perfectly so we could have heat Just before that though I had went to a local store and bought a couple of space heaters plugged one in and because the plug and wiring was wired wrong also the heater blew out The faulty wiring blew out a brand new heater That cost us 49 in addition to what it cost my husband to repair and service their unit If that were not enought the refrigerator was leaking water all over the floor the oven didnt work and needed new elements and only one eye out of four on the stove worked The dishwasher didnt work either The next day we complained to Management but never got anywhere with them After a whole month of not having a dishwasher or a stove and complaining with Zero results we pulled our own appliances out of our rented storage unit and replaced the nonworking stove and the Nonworking dishwasher and place the Nonworking appliances on the front porch and told them to come get them We were trying to stay true to our lease agreement but They were Not keeping true to their side of the lease aggreement We stayed there using our stainless steel appliances for the entire year When the renewal aggreement came around and we had the opportunity to renew we said No we were not renewing our lease We believe that this made them mad We had already asked that if they fixed our apartment like they were fixing up other apartments that we would renew but they said no So we moved out We always paid our rent and were never behind on anything but because my husband sent them a bill for fixing their unit they made up some bogus amount that they said we owed them and it almost kept us from getting a better apartment The companies like theirs apparently has the legal right to lie cheat people do them dirty and then ruin their credit with no responsibility of themselves to do the right thing and pay someone for genuinely repairing and servicing their unit or wiring I would not recommend these apartments to anyone In addition there was a person shot and killed on the side walk right outside our apartment Later there was a wounded dog shot there too It was a total ly aweful experience aside from the few friends that we made while thereneighbors who all had problems too with their apartments which were never fixed either Some families moved in one week then moved out the next week We saw that all of the time and that is what we should have done ourselves but we were trying to do right by the lease aggreement and our trying to do the right thing only bit us in the butt more ... hide ...

now i live itSummerplace Apartments are a wonderful place to live and raise your family its very quiet here we are under construction now which makes the outside so beautiful with brand new colors I have been here a total of 15 years
