I had to go to Chicago for a week because my brother had died and when I returned home three days later, the manager and an eviction officer were there trying to change the lock, and they told me I had to leave the apartment immediately. She also said that I had a court date on October 25th, 2018. However, I did not receive anything from her or the court system informing me that I had missed a court date. The manager also stated that she had left the notice of eviction in my door, but I was not in town and there was no notification of eviction or court date given. According to the law, if I am served an eviction notice, there needs to be a court Marshall or sheriff and I have to sign for it. None of that happened, so now I am stuck in a hotel with none of my belongings and trying to resolvemore ...hide ...

Our new manager is excellent. Taking steps to clean up and keep this residence is not easy. My wife and I are happy here! We are glad for the improvements Rochelle makes here on a daily basis. Being safe and comfortable where you live should be important to everyone-yet many are not willing to see it is a two way street. Everyone that lives here can help, this used to be a place where people used to get drugs and a hangout for the homeless. Now these folks find other places to be. My wife and I are grateful. Thank you.more ...hide ...
