When I moved in a long time ago, Regina and Dean managed and maintained the property well. Since they were forced out, Sylvia the manager and Enrique the maintenance man who have taken their place have been idle, sardonic and show favoritism towards Spanish-speaking Hispanics in the area, and when there is an issue, they just gossip instead of doing anything.2. If an appliance stops working due to regular wear and tear, there are never any funds to replace it, and so the tenant has to be without a working appliance for months, unless a resident dies or moves out. However, if an appliance breaks due to a tenant's fault, they have to pay for a new appliance right away when they pay their rent. Dean, the previous maintenance man, had spare fridges and stoves on-site to be used in case any of the old ones in a unit stopped working.3. During this pandemic, they evicted a tenant for not being at home! The tenant told management their mother was very ill, and they did not know how much longer she would be around, yet they still paid the rent every month, even the one when they were away, and yet the corporate still went ahead andmore ...hide ...
