MI would give a 0, if I could. My mother-in-law had been on the waiting list at Leisure Manor in Sacramento for almost 3 years, being 57 and disabled, and the State of California had declared her permanently disabled. My husband and I were checking in every 4 months to see how far up the list she was. We had been living together until she got in. In January 2019, when we moved, we went to Leisure Manor to update our address and were told she was 5th on the list. However, upon contacting them again in July 2019, we discovered she was removed from the list. We believe this was discrimination, as when my husband and her went to change our address, she was walking in with her cane. After talking to Leisure Manor and Kelly from Ray Stone, it is evident that they removed her from the list because they did not think she was disabled enough. After 3 years waiting to get in, this is unacceptable. Furthermore, Kelly from Ray Stone was very unprofessional, jumping to conclusions without all the facts. Therefore, I would advise not to trust your family member with this company.more ...hide ...
