We compiled all requested documents and disbursed the $50 background check fee. We anticipated a call, but instead we went to the office to ask after our status. It turned out the apartment was only for low income tenants, so we did not qualify. We were then told that the other apartment, which we should have received in the beginning, had already been presented to other applicants, even though we had applied first. We contacted the office again a few days later and were told that yes, our application was processed first and our credit would be checked first and to wait for their call. No call ever came, so we called again and were told that the other applicants had already been offered the apartment. All this was due to their mistake, as the apartment we wanted was already given to someone else. We were kept in the dark because they do not return calls. They kept on giving us conflicting information. We are still waiting for a refund since we were told to wait for "they might not quality." We were misled for nearly 3 weeks. Do not let these apartments waste your time.more ...hide ...
