We moved into the complex on August 10 and soon after, one of three dryers in the local laundry unit broke down with a note being put on the unit saying management was aware and would repair it soon. It is currently February 12 and the dryer remains broken, making it hard to do washing when there are three washers, two dryers and two full buildings competing for the facility. Furthermore, the area is HORRIBLE! It is dangerous to walk around any time of the day or night; there are break-ins all over the place. The gates stopping people from entering the apartments are frequently open or broken, making it possible for anyone to access the front door of the apartments. Kids make a racket at any hour of the day or night by pounding on the doors. The management knows about the issues but does nothing to address them. I'm unable to open my window coverings or windows out of fear that the kids will see what is in the apartment and break in. Mold is in our apartment, roaches were present when we moved in, and our neighbors deal drugs, bringing more unsavory characters into the complex. I understand it's low income, but it's just not worth it! There are other low income apartment complexes with the same monthly rent near us that are clean and in safer neighborhoods; please consider those before this one. more ... hide ...
