The apartments are overpriced for their location and quality, and there are always kids screaming outside people's doors. The office is rarely open, so if you have an issue, it can take forever to contact the manager by call or email. Maintenance is good and friendly, but our AC was broken upon move-in and they refused to fix it, claiming it wasn't important enough. As if that wasn't enough, they never sent us our security deposit after moving out, and even after multiple attempts to contact them, they still didn't return it. They even called us to accuse us of not returning the keys, even though we had. All in all, this place is a disaster and a joke. Rent somewhere else.more ...hide ...

Even though it was a good start to living in this state, we were happy when we moved out. Cons include: no dishwasher or properly working window AC; in the winter our bedroom was too hot even with the window open and sometimes I had to sleep with an ice pack; neighbors bought their own AC unit for their bedroom; rent seemed to go up randomly and there were new parking fees added towards the end of our lease; courtyard had a bad smell most days and people would litter all over the parking lot; highway noise from 225 could be heard; area can be a little sketchy at times (i.e. pickax randomly taken to one of washers); shattered glass on road near Billings Avenue etc.; panhandlers around Colfax Avenue. Pros include: under new management things seem improving (new washers/dryers installed, parking lots re-paved); Ron (the owner) great to work with; no pests in our unit despite pest control company saying surrounding units had issues; room felt spacious given square footage & easy access onto highway so can travel places easily.more ...hide ...

We feel like prisoners in our own homes. We cant receive food, packages or any other type of deliveries Nor can we let our family or friends in like Americans should be allowed too. The manger said we have to walk all the way to the gate with the key card to get any deliveries or let anyone in. Which doesnt make since because people work and are not able to be there upon delivery. Also not able to car pool any longer because people could not get in the gate. I have a neighbor who the manger wont even give a key card too just because her car isnt in her name. So she has to walk all the way from the street with her groceries and she is in her older ages. Problems need to be solved before us tenants escalate to a higher office.more ...hide ...

His experience has been more than positive. He is a disabled vet, and is quiet particular, and the office has been more than helpful, the maintenance issues have been handled quickly and properly. And he is very happy with the maintenance crew, they have been very helpful in all that was asked of them, even when it was a little extra, like raising a shower curtain bar. Thanks guys!more ...hide ...
