These entries have been in violation of federal privacy laws, and my apartment manager, Haley Jory, has been known to use any means possible to get me evicted from the complex. There are cameras in the complex, but they're primarily used to watch certain individuals that Haley doesn't like. In addition, my elderly dog was charged for having "destructive" grass in her yard, even though the sprinklers hadn't been working for 10 months. The complex management refuses to answer my phone calls or respond to emails, and when I try to go over their heads they simply find an excuse to evict me. Finally, when that doesn't work, Haley calls the Louisville Police Department and has officers come and issue me citations for not picking up my dog's waste. Overall, I would not recommend this complex to anyone.more ...hide ...

For a while, management was going through some issues, Ive been a resident here for a long time now and I have seen a lot of community managers come and go, some better than others.Reviews arent updated often to reflect changes that benefit, currently as of me posting this, the team at copper ridge is, in my opinion, the best one theyve had in years. Maintenance is very quick with requests and the people on staff are always friendly, you can literally wave them down for a question and they will go so far as to just put an order in for you if you ask them.Ive had them replace my dishwasher the same day it broke down, not being able to find one they grabbed one from a unit being worked on. Just so I didnt have to hand-wash my dishes, not really a priority for most people Id imagine. If you need something done, you can expect it done in a pretty timely manner, this included during the height of Covid where they were respectful about masks and me asking them not to come in during all of it because of my Wife being immunocompromised. For management, like I said, they have had their ups and downs but right now I can safely say that Jessica (current community manager) and the staff that works with her are in their top shape, friendly attitudes and efficiency at tasks, even if they arent completely familiar with everything yet, it seems that a lot of the Avanti staff that have been coming here have been a good bunch.Hey, every place will have its problems, this place? Its a nice place to live. Right down the street from a grocery store, across the road is a pharmacy, tons of restaurants and a shopping center right across the highway, speaking of that, its along the mainstrip that feeds into 36 East and West, so easy travel to Boulder and Denver. Its also quiet around here, there isnt a ton of noise in the neighbourhood or the town in general after about 9:30-10pm perfect for a night stroll or just sitting outside peacefully. Im guessing the walls are insulated well because Ive never been freezing in my home and Ive never heard any of my neighbours in the entire time Ive been here (one had three kids!)Which, there are schools basically around the corner, so if you do have kids I imagine it wouldnt be that hard to not only take them in but also be more active in their school life, a small aside, I had this with my parents and I have fond memories of them bringing me lunch as a kid, you could have that too.You get a good value here, a responsive community that does care (at least the current one), and being on Mccaslin is quite a boon with everything Ive listed.I enjoy writing so this went on for a long time, but if you want atl:dr its this: Its a nice place, nice people, quiet, great location.Oh one extra note, they need to do something about the dog waste, ignorant people arent picking up and its hard for the staff to keep up with it.more ...hide ...

We love thUpdated: Mary, the manager, reached out to me the same day this review was posted and got someone out to fix our problem within a few hours. The apartment complex is great otherwise and has a ton of amenities. We love that every apartment comes with a garage (detached), which is included in rent. Taking a couple stars off because maintenance can take forever and we had to resort to posting a review in order to get our toilets fixed a month after submitting a work order, and because of all the extra fees for things which we feel should be included with our rent, especially since it€™s pretty expensive here.Original:Make sure everything is working in the apartment prior to move in or it€™ll never get fixed. When we moved in a month ago, we noticed the toilets were continually running and flushing and the outlets in the dining room weren€™t working. After mentioning this to a leasing agent, we were told that the toilets were an easy fix and that the flappers needed to be replaced so we submitted a maintenance request a few days after move in. After 2 weeks of the toilets constantly flushing we hadn€™t heard anything and called Resident Services to get an update. We explained to them that we didn€™t want to get saddled with a high water bill, that it seems wasteful to have 2 constantly running toilet during a drought, and that the constant flushing was an issue, and were told they would make a note of the urgency of the issue and that we€™d get a call back about when they could send someone. That was over 2 weeks ago and we still haven€™t heard a word. Tried to email them last week so there was a written record and haven€™t gotten a response there either. Our toilets have been continually running for a month now and we have pretty much been ghosted through all our attempts to contact them. Apparently public reviews are the only way to get attention for something that should€™ve been fixed before move in and would be a 15 minute fix so here I am. Wish we€™d delayed move in until they fixed the problems but hopefully other people can learn from our experience.more ...hide ...
