They have attractive hardwood floors with a glossy finish, as well as new appliances and plumbing fixtures. Unfortunately, we come across the same problem with many inner city apartment owners- they don't seem to be in a hurry to fix issues in the buildings. For example, there is a problem with leaky pipes here. Apparently, some type of very strong squirrels have chewed through the pipes and caused a major leak in one of the apartments, according to the property manager. I was surprised to hear that everyday tree squirrels had the strength to bite through copper or lead pipes, and that these metals are on their menu. Regardless, I had to reduce my rating for this otherwise decent two bedroom apartment, which is on the lower end of the income spectrum. more ... hide ... Making a rental inquiry
