When I moved into the apartment in March 2017, the kitchen floor was very dirty, the refrigerator was so aged that my food was spoiling, and the closets were damaged. I contacted her concerning the fridge and said my food was going bad, but she had an answer for that. Even after almost a year, she still did not repair the kitchen floor. Then, when I was cooking, the oven burst. I phoned the office but no one answered, so I had to call the police. When I phoned the next day about the oven, they didn't come until the following week to fix it. I pay my rent three months in advance and she still says that I owe money on my rent. Each time I ask her to show me how I owe money, she says she is busy. So, always have a receipt or bank statement as a safeguard because she often forgets and tries to steal your money. One night I arrived home and the lock wasn't functioning. I phoned the office several times and nobody picked up, until a private number called me and it was the maintenance man. He came and opened the door, and apparently the door knob was broken, so I had to get a new one. They are very laid-back and don't attend to your needs as quickly as they should; it takes them a whole week or two to getmore ...hide ...

Affordable housing. This well-kept apartment community is income based. Leasing and maintenance are helpful, and residents are friendly.

The location was great, with so many different places to go for walks close by. Target and shoprite were both really close, as well as the mall.Of all the apartments I€™ve lived at, this was my favorite. I think a big part was the natural lighting in the apartment complex. The staff was also really easy to talk to and I really respect that they walked through my apartment with me before I left. A few weeks later, they gave me my deposit back. I€™ve had issues with past apartments coming up with bogus reasons to keep the deposit, but I think everyone there is really honest. They also stay on top of reminding tenants the rules of the complex so everyone can enjoy the best environment possible. Thanks Village of Cantebury!
