2017-12-18T00:10:00ZThis review is to alert anyone who may be thinking of moving to the Cabana Club Apartments AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COST The management lives on site however the place is in complete disrepair The hallways and apartments have ROACHES and GECKOS The This review is to alert anyone who may be thinking of moving to the Cabana Club Apartments AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COST The management lives on site however the place is in complete disrepair The hallways and apartments have ROACHES and GECKOS The company does not spray for bugs and do not clean the building the last time the maintenance man came was six months ago with a gel that he only placed in the cabinets There is mold in the hallways and rather than deal with the issue they have recently turned on the AC periodically to lower the smell in the building The two elevators never work at the same time One elevator has not worked for more than eight months The carpet in the hallways are filthy and smell on urine dirt and must The windows are one ply and do not keep out any smells or bugs The building has ants crawling on the outside which make the balcony unusable The building does not change the filters in the building so if you utilize a fan the dust that accumulates is thick and brown The laundry rooms on each floor have two washers and two dryers but can be utilized by anyone in the building so as tenants break the machines on their floors they go to another floor The company that serves the machines do not come and the cards for the fee for the usage of the devices steal your money and there is no recourse The rent goes up everytime the building is purchased and to date since 2014 there have been three different owners each with a rise in rent This additional rent is not conveyed ahead of time and only when it is time for you to renew your rent The office does not provide receipts for your rent The toilets are old and when you flush they make a loud noise similar to the sound of an airplane The security gate is broken and anyone can enter the complex The pool is never serviced or drained The water is just colored and left unattended Across the street is a complex where people are being killed fires are being burned and the helicopters are always out looking for suspects The building expects you to keep your AC on at all times to keep the mold down which will keep your electric bill above 120 per month This place is just not a livable place and it is a shame that the owners who are in Massachusetts are merely collecting rent and disregarding the tenants AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST more ... hide ...
