In September 2020, I moved out. I applied for housing in March 2021, but my request was declined due to an alleged debt to the apartment complex. I had already furnished them with my new address and paid a bill with my updated details on it, so I wasIn September 2020, I moved out. I had already furnished them with my new address and paid a bill with my updated details on it, so I was perplexed why I hadn't been made aware of the debt. Multiple attempts to contact them by email, voicemail, and phone calls failed to yield a response. A friend of mine went to the office on my behalf, but they only promised to send me an email which never materialized. On a trip to Jacksonville, I called from outside the building and was told to wait for a call back from the staff after their meeting. However, the meeting ended and I never received a call. When I waited outside, the lady eventually returned from lunch and claimed I owed over $300 for cleaning fees. I asked for proof of this, but she said it would be sent in the mail. My daughter has lived at one of their apartment for over a year and for the last 10 months her ac and heat had been broken . She has a child under 1 in that home and as of now is freezing literally and no one cares . You can€™t reach them by phone and they are not in the office hardly ever. It is a shame that our city is paying the majority of the income based apartments yet they are allowing an infant to be left in extreme heat and cold .
