I have dwelled here for a year and, until recently, had only encountered minor problems. On multiple occasions, I have seen extension cords running from the hallways into other people's apartments. Last week, the electricity in my apartment suddenly went out at around 7 PM, and after Georgia Power was contacted and came to investigate, they told me it was an internal issue and they couldn't do anything, leaving me in the dark until 3 AM when the power randomly came back on. I have only been late on my rent once, as my account was hacked, but the leasing office was understanding and allowed me to make payments without any difficulties. Recently, I had to order a new bank card, and upon trying to pay my rent through the portal, my account was locked and I was unable to make the payment, a situation I feel was done out of spite due to my recent complaints. If strict rules and regulations are to be followed, I expect the same kind of diligence and communication from the building staff towards the residents. more ... hide ...
