Drugs, neglectful maintenance staff, and regular home inspections (at least eight this year, which is like one per month and thus no privacy - tomorrow we have one) all mean that promises to repair things are never kept. Tenants feel that the lady in charge only visits to be nosy. We were told that security was absent because it was not in the budget and that rent would rise if we wanted it back. The front office lady is kind, but the one in charge is hostile and runs the place like a prison. She is more concerned about tenants' private matters than the multitude of problems in the complex such as gambling, prostitution, drug dealing, malfunctioning appliances, and overflowing trash. Car break-ins and home invasions are frequent. After eight years, I used to enjoy living here, but the new management and particularly the new leasing lady have made it unbearable and I, like many other tenants, am ready to move. The turnover rate has increased dramatically, so do not move here unless you are willing to pay a high price and live in a state of constant surveillance.more ...hide ...
