When we moved in here, we were informed that the rent would be temporarily high for one month and then it would be lowered. When I inquired about this, I received a rude email saying there was nothing they could do. For a place that is supposedly federally funded, they don't provide much help to families with a single income, and we have to put off many things each month just to make the rent. We are hoping to move out of here ASAP. The place used to be great, but the manager was let go on health grounds (she really tried to assist us), and the new hire is never in the office. Work orders usually take several weeks to be done. One-income families should look for somewhere better. Additionally, they are only supposed to inspect the unit every six months and the first thirty days of moving in. I have had way more inspections than that and for someone paying full price for a unit, I shouldn't have to worry about keeping it immaculately clean. If I want to have candles out, I need to make sure I hide them before they come in.more ...hide ...

The majority of the people that live here do not take care of their messes. They dont pick up after their pets, they let them urinate everywhere (there were regular stains on the carpet before they replaced it). Management finally had to replace the hallway carpet after having it cleaned multiple times. Also, the people living here are not friendly at all. Their constantly passing around nasty rumors about anyone and everyone, even things that are not true at all. Some of them also like to make social \"Power Plays\" on others. Id see a police cruiser outside the complex on a regular basis for stupid, petty stuff all the time. Not to mention the building is super old. A pipe burst in one of the buildings once, and it left a very large mess. Im glad I got out when I did. I would not recommend this place to anyone, no matter what.more ...hide ...

We rake up all of the leaves from THEIR tree in our yard and never say anything about it. Then their Landscapers BLOW all the leaves from the apartment side over the fence and into our yard creating a new mess. Come clean up your mess boys and I will take down my review.more ...hide ...

There is no parking right outside your apartment, as neighbors are not respectful of other people who live in the building, so you will have to utilize the "visitor parking". 2. No central air, which results in a high power bill. 3. The apartment is inadequately insulated. 4. When they say the apartment is renovated, they mean they just painted over the existing features with cream color paint. 5. The closet doors are not fixed properly, and will frequently come off the track. 6. The door knob is of low quality, so you may get stuck in your bedroom. 7. Water, trash, and sewer are not included in the rent, you will have to pay an extra fee of $50+ each month. 8. There are no washer and dryer hook-ups. 9. Snow is not removed, so it will become an ice sheet (be sure to have medical insurance in case of any falls). 10. Packages from the post office will not be delivered as the post office is open only from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. 11. If you are looking for a peaceful time by the pool, this is not the place for you, as it is usually full of noisy children. 12. The pet deposit is $350. 13. Most of the outlets are connected to one light switch. All in all, this is not anmore ...hide ...
