The staff seem to have good intentions, and some of them are nice, but it appears that the higher-ups are not taking care of issues properly. The building is nice, and at first I didn't pay much attention to the little problems like a leak or lost packages. But the leak they never fixed (even after my requests) got worse and damaged my stuff, and my parcels continued to be taken. I even feared for my safety because of a defective fire alarm that would go off in the middle of the night, and the door in the stairwell was often open due to a broken lock which was reported to management by myself and other tenants. In the end, what motivated me to leave was the way my problems weren't taken care of. If only management had responded to my concerns and fixed them (or actually fixed them) I would still be living there, as the place was really nice and in a great spot. They will also offer you $500 off to sign after a showing, however it comes in the form of a gift card and takes months to get to you. I have seen management try to retaliate when issues were brought up, so although I left, I want to remain anonymous.more ...hide ...
Despite what other reviewers say excellent place to live good location and nice apartments Also at least in my experience the property managers have been quick to address concerns about safety as well as repairs Would highly recommend

I've been living here for almost five years and have experienced racism, discrimination, and the worst treatment. The office staff and the manager don't even acknowledge me when I greet them in the morning and the lobby I've been living here for almost five years and have experienced racism, discrimination, and the worst treatment. The office staff and the manager don't even acknowledge me when I greet them in the morning and the lobby has a foul smell like a sewer. The elevators are always broken, strangers come and go as they please, and there's often people sleeping on the couch which is not safe. Though there is supposed to be 24-hour security, I was once chased to my car by a man who had hollered at me; luckily I made it in time. After that incident security began walking me to my car when it was dark outside. In most buildings visitors must present ID before entering an apartment; however here anyone can come in as they please due to broken doors or people following others into the building after they're buzzed in. I'm treated with animosity because of my disability status (which isn't physical) and Jewish background; this makes it difficult for me to move since I still need to pay rent, light bills, etc., while saving money for relocation expenses. It's embarrassing having company over due to how rundown everything looks/smells so I wouldn't ever recommend this building - not even to my worst enemy!more ...hide ...
