One of my neighbors regularly breaks the noise ordinance at all hours of the day and night, yet this issue has been ignored for two-plus years. Every few months one of our appliances breaks down only to begin malfunctioning again weeks or months later. I reported issues with painting maintenance and termites back in January 2021 that still haven't been addressed; molding from one window is now rotted due to this. Additionally, there appears to be a water leak behind where I set up my home office that hasn't even been looked at yet and I'm concerned about potential mold or rust in my ventilation system which could be a health hazard. The project manager said he would come by for an inspection but never did so.
I don't understand why property management isn't more proactive when it comes to fixing issues; they need more staff so they can give each situation adequate attention instead of being so overloaded it takes multiple months to resolve them. We recently received word renovations are coming soon, so hopefully things will turn around here soon. Until then, I'm giving one star due to the lack of timeliness in addressing problems along with the quality of materials used during construction currently. Update: A project team finally completed an assessment at the end of 2021 but we're still waiting on renovations scheduled for springtime before completion occurs.more ...hide ...

Understandably so. When I asked when I could make arrangements to view the place, they said that it likely would be rented without anyone actually seeing it. When I asked why, they said it was because a lot of people, especially students, were signing a lease without viewing the property first. I understand this, but still think it's not a responsible way for a landlord to handle things. People should have the option to view it in person. I am not going to rent this unit, but hope the next person is careful. I am giving three stars instead of one because the reply was prompt.more ...hide ...

My apartment is well-constructed. Amenities include central air, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and stainless steel fridge. Plenty of closet space. On the 3rd floor, theres a gym for tenants. Youre located in the middle of everything; convenient walk to French Quarter, CBD, and Warehouse District. The streetcar stops one block away. It is a safe, quiet building-but for extra peace of mind, the management provides a security guard at night. If you value diversity and city living, give this place a look.more ...hide ...
