I moved to this complex in 2010 and after 6 yrs. I decided to move out for too many reasons. This is the worst place to live and I do not recommend this place to a family that hates an irresponsible landlord/management. I moved to this complex in 2010 and after 6 yrs. I decided to move out for too many reasons. This is the worst place to live and I do not recommend this place to a family that hates an irresponsible landlord/management. If you call the office they are never there to answer your phone calls. They have a third party company that answer the phone for them and it is like you never called. They do not call you back or they do not answer to your messages unless you threat them with taking them to court or stopping the rent until they get back to you. They NEVER came to my house to paint, when it is their responsibility to keep the apartment painted. I painted my own apartment because I asked them to do it for several months and they never did. I also asked them to change my carpets because they did not change them when I moved in and the stairs were very dangerous and they NEVER did. They have a person working there named Keith, who is extremely rude and unprofessional with the tenants. Every single neighbor dislikes him and even some have asked not to be contacted by him. I had multiples issues with him because I hate when someone treats you like they are more than you. When I moved out I gave them my noticed 6 weeks in advance and gave my keys the 1st of the month. I waited 25 days to get my deposit back, but guess what??? The deposit was short for $45 without any reason. These people love to steal money from their tenants. My mother gave them $1,475.00 and management tried to say that she only gave them $500. She had to show them proof of the payments and asked them to sign a letter. Also, they increase your rent every year for at least $30, but your apartment will look the same! You do not get new appliances if you move in unless the previous tenant destroyed the apartment. MANAGEMENT IS A JOKE!!! Dont let them fool you!!!more ...hide ...
I lived at Plantation Apartments from 2007 to 2014. My husband & I are both on the autistic spectrum & cannot work. Property manager Vicki Blake told a friend of ours that my husband & I could work if we wanted to. This I lived at Plantation Apartments from 2007 to 2014. My husband & I are both on the autistic spectrum & cannot work. Property manager Vicki Blake told a friend of ours that my husband & I could work if we wanted to. This is disability discrimination.Vicki Blake went on to say to our friend that we were abnormal because we dont have cable & because we left the blinds down. She said that we were letting our apartment go to waste because the blinds were down. She said we were living in seclusion & shutting out the world. Then she asked our friend what we did all day. I feel this is none of her business. Vicki Blake is a busybody who minds her residents business. This is harassment of disabled people.more ...hide ...
