The personnel at this office are very discourteous. Two ladies there collaborate closely with Inspector Joe, who is incredibly obnoxious towards landlords. He was once a landlord himself, but he sold all his rental properties during a market slump 6-7 years ago. Because he can no longer be a landlord, he wishes for all current landlords to fail. Joe is quite severe on landlords who want to rent out their properties to Fitchburg Housing section 8 tenants; many landlords have spoken out against him. The Fitchburg Housing office is only in agreement with Joe and employs him as the exclusive inspector for section 8 housing. Consequently, Joe is haughty and very severe with landlords. As a landlord who has multiple section 8 apartments, I am willing to fix them; however, I do not appreciate the brusque way Joe treats me. Landlords deserve respect and these people are too mean to work with, making it hard for section 8 voucher holders to find housing.more ...hide ...

I have been living in a house on Crestview for six years, and it is great- I have a backyard that is relatively private, and the front of my house has plenty of room for my children to play away from cars. The only downsI have been living in a house on Crestview for six years, and it is great- I have a backyard that is relatively private, and the front of my house has plenty of room for my children to play away from cars. The only downside is that the management team, which is run by Simon Companies, is incredibly rude. They rarely show up to the leasing office during scheduled hours and they charge you fees for standard repairs, such as bathroom mold. Additionally, when maintenance workers do arrive they often leave your house messier than before they arrived. If you can find a nice unit in a good location then I recommend it; however, be aware that customer service from Simon Companies isn't their priority - their main concern is making money. As an example of this attitude: in November John (the property manager) attempted to evict me and my son shortly before Christmas because he didn't like me paying rent within 6 days (which had never been an issue in the 6 years I've lived there). He even refused to deposit the check when I finally paid rent after two weeks!more ...hide ...

We were looking for something different than a hotel. Something relaxing and unique. This place had everything we wanted!Luckily we got to spend some time by the firepit and jacuzzi outside before it rained. The jacuzzi tub in the room we booked was absolutely amazing as well. The owners Sarah and Ryan were great hosts and were very accommodating. They gave us great recommendations on where to go grab a drink and some food. Breakfast in the morning was as delicious as if we went to a nice restaurant. We will have to go back to see the beautiful grounds in full bloom.I could go on and on. All of the small details really add up. Book this place, you wont regret it!Thanks again Sarah and Ryan for a great night away from our chaos at home.more ...hide ...
