A nice comfortable place to live; very convenient location. The mechanism for dealing with social dynamics are lacking due to lack of experience with management. My mom decided to move here years ago, and she lived in an apartment until we had to move her to Clarks Terrace (assisted living) on the 2nd floor. She selected Park Danforth, just in case she needed AL. Good idea mom! She selected Park Danforth, just in case she needed AL. Good idea mom! This is one of many reasons to select PD. The other reasons include the residents (who are wonderful and make great table mates at dinner each night), the accommodations (the apartments are well designed and easy to furnish and navigate), the overall facility (is well maintained and the common areas are comfortable for socializing or just reading the paper), the social offerings (local shopping trips, onsite movies and games, and holiday family dinner) and most importantly the staff (there is low turnover, they are like family to my mom, they are knowledgeable, well trained, informative and caring - even the chef knows my moms name!). Ive spent many, many hours vising my mom and her friends at PD. This was our last month at PD and I will miss the staff and residents. Thank you Park Danforth- you are an important part of my familys story. Cheers!more ...hide ...
