Very pet friendly and regular inspections to make sure that everything is working well and that repairs are done as needed. Beautiful grounds with a playground for little ones and plenty of space and trails around for dog walking. Ive seen complaints about ticks in the reviews here, and yes, Ive found some. However, insects such as ticks are just a part of living in the woods; I inspect my dog for them every time we come in from a walk, as well as keep him on preventative medicine, and it hasnt been an issue. I would do this even if I was not in an apartment, as that is simply a part of maintaining your pets health when you live on forested land.Friendly management that I cant praise enough. Parking lot was just redone and lawns, flowerbeds, and other maintenance to the grounds are frequently done to keep things looking nice and clean. Plenty of storage in units as well as bike racks so you can store those outdoors. Entryway has a large closet so that outdoor items can be stored without muddying up your space and so that nothing needs to be kept outdoors anyway. Picnic tables are provided for tenant use, as well as buckets for cigarette butt disposal that are taken care of by management. As to complaints Ive seen about not having grills for personal use; one of my neighbors used one anyway for the fourth of July two years back, and ended up setting the picnic table it was set up on on fire! I can understand why theyre not allowed; its even in the lease.Events for families and children are held a few times a year. In the past, weve had door-decorating contests, a petting-zoo, and potlucks when the weathers nice. These are optional to attend or participate in, and are fun events for those who want to participate.I dont know what issues others have had with propane bills; mine is on average $50, barely double that in the winter.Honestly a great place to live that Ive found to be quiet, comfortable, spacious, well-maintained, and free from pests. I understand that people who are unhappy are usually the only ones to share their experience, so I wanted to make sure that a positive experience was represented here. Ive been happy here and just signed my fifth year lease. Yes, there are rules in place, but youll find that wherever you go. As long as you are reasonable and respectful, expect no issues.more ...hide ...
