One because zero wasn€™t an option. We reserved our apartment over three weeks in advance. On moving day the prop manager wasn€™t there to meet me as arranged that morning. The maintenance guy let me into the apartment. It was FILTHY. Mold on walls, flooring coming up in the kitchen, they hadn€™t painted and swore the carpet had been cleaned- it wasn€™t which they later verified. The maintenance manager verbally assaulted my husband and told us to come back after 3:00!!!! We never got our $ back. HORRIBLE. A local furniture store said they were top on the list for bed bugs too. Super.

I have lived at Whispering Pines for six years. In those years I found the staff to be very unprofessional, they pick and choose which residents they want to befriend and favor. Those tend to be those who will tattle on other residents and constantly complain while their apartments are the most horrifically kept. I have recently been given a notice to quit on the grounds that I have someone living in my apartment that is not on the lease, however, all of management has known this since day one. They also had a problem with two cars being parked in front of the building because of the extra person. However, that extra person has been here for five years out of the six years I have been here. If you need to talk to them you cannot, they do not answer the phone. They have caller ID and so they choose who will be talking to them. They are never available. You find notes tacked to your door and no personal contact. As there are two sides to every story, this seems like a poor way to do business.
