To begin with, nothing ever gets fixed on time; the gate has remained open for three months despite the fact that I'm paying for secure parking and cars have been broken into and stolen. The doorbell was broken for two months, so there was a lot of yelling, and the doors stay propped open, making the building not secure. Mice are everywhere, and now bedbugs are becoming a problem. No one is allowed in here. Out of the three washers and four dryers, only one washer and two dryers are working. The building is so thin that you can hear conversations, televisions, footsteps, and other intimate things incredibly clearly. Everyone is complaining about the appliances and the building requires a deep clean. Additionally, there is a lot of crime in this area. The place is very noisy; there are far too many young people, and it's a drug/party building, meaning you'll never get any sleep. I sometimes have to rent rooms to get some rest. This is the worst place I have ever lived. They say there are no dogs allowed on the apartment search site, but that is a lie; there are dogs that bark all the time, and the cats urinate in the stairwells. Additionally, the kids run and skate and play in the halls, creating an 'Animal House' type situation. I lived there but had too move because of a domestic violence relationship. I owed one month rent moved out of town. I became homeless when I got back too Detroit because she refused too even see or talk too me. Just left me literally Homeless. Shes a crule, heartless, disrespectful inhumane individual!!! But my personal experience living there was good. Just too often elevators break down. And the Dread of having too go too or talk too anyone in the office. The places are nice but the management is horrible.... You can never get anything fixed for the amount of money they want for rent its crazy...you shouldnt have to wait years for nothing to get done period.
