This rental experience was the worst I've ever had and it's a relief that it's over after five years. I had a newborn in this apartment, and the issues we had to constantly deal with were simply unacceptable. For example, every time it rained, water would pour in through the window, the doorbell never worked, the bathtub leaked along the perimeter, a neglected yellow jacket nest filled our room with yellow jackets, and the dishwasher failed spilling water all over our living room carpet while we were away. Management seemed indifferent to the situation, even with a baby in the house. Judging from recent reviews, it doesn't look like things have improved. If possible, I would encourage you to stay away from Cliffview Apartments, as it has been reported that the manager, Sheryl, has been very unprofessional and disrespectful to both rent-paying tenants and those who have been there for years. Additionally, she has asked for things that are not on the lease, and has had the maintenance man come by to watch the tenants. Some tenants have had their curtains closed for months, and others have been threatened with eviction due to the curtains being a neutral color instead of a bright color. All of this is true, and it is causing a lot of stress for the mothers living there.
