The carpet did NOT appear to have been cleaned to me before I moved in. We noted several stains on the initial walk. When I told them I was moving, she immediately jumped to make sure that I did the carpet cleaning mentioned in the lease before completing my move, and as this is mentioned in the lease I complied. I was already out of town for the most part so I had a trusted friend clean it with evidence of equipment used from Fast Eddies. After my friend had cleaned the carpet, I receive a message saying that it doesnt appear to have been cleaned. I went and mentioned that it was, and attempted to remind that the carpet was stained upon move-in(I believe I used the word \"gnarly\" to describe it). I received an email back saying on her rating scale it was a 2 when I moved in, with a 1 being new carpet. Despite my debating this matter of appeasing GLDs bottom line, I received a bill for $110 in the mail for the cleaning. $110 to clean a carpet?! Get real. Move-in was cheap for a reason.more ...hide ...

We had to jump through a lot of hoops printing out, filling out, and getting our work to fill out various forms in order to apply. This process took a couple of weeks of emailing back and forth, calling, and driving to the office to drop off said paper work. We didnt hear anything back for a few days so I called them and left a message, and never received a call back. I had an email the next say saying we were rejected based off of our income, no details no anything, just that. The office workers are nice and helpful, but to fully anticipate moving and thinking youre approved just to turn around and get rejected, it has left an extremely sour taste in my mouth. So good luck to anyone else applying for an apartment here.more ...hide ...
