I had an appointment with the Sterling Ponds' new property manager, Joel, for 02/11/2020 to tour a rental apartment that was available starting 05/01. To my dismay, he couldn't arrange the tour as the tenant was unavailable. To my dismay, he couldn't arrange the tour as the tenant was unavailable. Instead, Joel showed me around the regular rental building which had similar layouts but cost more. He implied I could rent one of those instead even though I specified my budget and wanted to look at only senior units. After setting up a follow-up appointment expecting to be able to lease it then, it turned out that someone else had already leased it just before our next meeting - without any courtesy call from Joel informing me beforehand! Even when I spoke with his assistant and asked him to contact me regarding renting on the more expensive side until a senior unit opened up, he never did so. Thus, due to his lack of professionalism and unhelpful customer service skills, I won't bother trying again if he remains property manager there; too bad as it looked like a nice place otherwise. more ... hide ...
