We had great expectations when we initially moved here, since we were desperately seeking a safer home. Josephs Pointe, however, has not been a satisfactory alternative. The fire alarm frequently goes off, children are constantly running up and down the corridors, police officers have had multiple visits to our building, homeless people sleep in the stairwells, and many other unpleasant experiences have taken place here. The tipping point for us was when our car's catalytic converter was stolen; I understand this is a common problem for residents of this complex. This has cost us a good deal of money and effort. To summarize, do not move here; it is not worth it.more ...hide ...

With that, they helped us adjust so that we could get moved in ASAP the office staff were always kind and respectful. The apartment itself was small but we were able to make it work there was barley enough room in the kitchen for two people to make food at the same time. The air conditioning and heat always worked and rarely had to turn the heat on because the building maintained decent temps. Never had any bed bugs or roaches or rodents which was nice. Also never any dead ppl behind the dumpsters lol. The pest control came monthly and always let us know ahead of time which we appreciated. Maintenance was on point and always came right away. The price is a lot for such a small place but such is our economy. All in all a decent place to live many thanks to Della and staff for helping my family out!more ...hide ...

I work for a non profit organization and all I was trying to do was get information from this organization through a phone call. The receptionist was rude and kept saying that she could not hear me. I made several test calls to other people to make sure it was not my phone. After attempting to call the establishment again the receptionist refused to answer my phone call, most likely because she recognized the number at the point. I then used a different number to call and she picked up immediately. Completely Unprofessional and if the services is a reflection of the receptionist that you have then I will definitely not be referring any client to them.more ...hide ...

Of course there have been some problems over that time - some with bad tenants, and occasionally, some slow resolutions to building issues , but with rare exceptions, most issues have been handled in timely fashion, professionally, and satisfactorily in my opinion.I think I€™ve been a good tenant, with competent and fair eyes on scene to help whomever has been managing the building. I also think I have been respectful to my apartment, never having caused a maintenance issue, always reporting concerns, and I think being as good for the property owners, as they have been for me.No small thing in this world.I€™ve been lucky to call this place home, and really hope I can stay a little longer, despite my very limited income, and the raises to rent which inevitably occur. (Rent now takes nearly 80% of my income.)This is long, but I wanted to thoroughly explain my experience, and thoroughly thank the management team.more ...hide ...
