Roaches have been a huge problem; the management has sprayed four times in the last year, yet I'm still seeing them. Five years ago it was different, but now they're letting just anyone move in. Five years ago it was different, but now they're letting just anyone move in. There are only two maintenance workers to cover the entire complex and it's a mess - garbage everywhere and pet owners not cleaning up their pet waste. These apartments look neglected. I know rent in Grand Rapids is expensive, but I'd rather pay more and be comfortable than be scared in my own home because of the roaches. I'm extremely clean, yet it doesn't matter when the people around me are not. The staff are nice and they send the exterminator, but it's pointless when the residents don't keep their place clean. Oakview should renovate these apartments right away. The only good thing is the rent is economical for those who are just looking for a temporary place to stay until they can do better. I'm not badmouthing Oakview, I'm just giving my honest opinion. I can't wait to buy my own home and leave this place! more ... hide ... Making a rental inquiry
