Generally, the front desk staff can be bearable if you are respectful, but their attitude can vary depending on their mood and, as they know many people have nowhere else to go, they may say that if you don't like something you can leave. The maintenance head at this hotel is a joke, as they clearly prioritize money over the needs of the long-term residents. This is evident in the lack of maintenance given to the laundry facilities and elevators, which are both old and often malfunctioning, and in the fact that the freight elevator is not working, meaning the residents must use the same elevator for trash as they do for themselves. Bedbugs are an issue throughout the building and the carpets in the hallways are filthy and smell bad. This year, the building got new ownership, and I hope they will invest in the residents. The location of this hotel is ideal, as it is half a block from a grocery store, one block from public transportation, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. However, parking is not included, so if you have a car be prepared to pay extra. more ... hide ...
