The personnel are pleasant, yet there are insufficient personnel to meet the needs of tenants. If a major problem is encountered in the apartment, it may take months of reminders before anything is done about it, and in some cases, nothing is accomplished. I have lived in my apartment for nearly a year without renewing the lease, and from the start noticed that during storms the ceiling leaked heavily. The issue has been reported multiple times, yet the problem persists. Another issue is the number of robberies which were aimed at the tenant storage units. These storage units have an 8-9 foot wall with a 3 foot gap from the ceiling, which makes them easy to climb into and items taken from inside. The apartments may look great, but are very badly constructed. Maintenance takes forever to attend to any issues, and the management is unresponsive and brusque. Fire alarms go off multiple times a month, the walls are really thin, and my neighbor plays loud music all day long. When I try to use the television in my bedroom, the electrical panel trips the breaker, and when I complained all I was told was it was "normal" and to just flip the breaker back on. My garbage disposal stopped working and it took twenty-four days to get it fixed, leaving us without a dishwasher for almost a month. When they did come to "repair it," it was installed incorrectly, so when my dishwasher ran, water came out of the disposal, almost flooding my kitchen. I am still waiting for a functioning dishwasher. I submitted an emergency maintenance request during office hours, but received no response. I've lived in many apartments, but none with such careless and inept management and maintenance staff. I cannot wait to move away from this awful place.
