After that, I filled out the required documents to book the place with no additional clauses, just as the post said, but was then informed that it was only valid for "approved credit" and I'd get a mere $400 off the first month. I continued with the process regardless. A few days later, I was told I was approved and asked to fill out some "tax credit" documentation with no context, so I took some time to complete the paperwork. Subsequently, I was told there were still four more steps in the process. I decided to pass on it, as I couldn't understand why they wouldn't have all the documents ready in one go. The lack of professionalism and clarity was outrageous - I had lived in multiple places previously and never encountered anything like this.
