We have an "upgraded" apartment, and here are my thoughts on its pros and cons (in my opinion). As far as the cons go, there's virtually no storage space, one covered parking spot, a few open spots (good luck finding one after 5PM!) and the birds in the parking structure use my car as their toilet (yuck!). The apartment has been renovated, but some marker stains still remain on the walls, and there are many patches from a careless previous tenant. If you have kids, be aware that there are a lot of bully types in the area (with even worse parents, according to my experiences). The entry gates to the complex also don't work very well. Now, the pros...Even though there are some rude children, I feel my 8 year old is safe to play outside. We have a brand new stainless steel fridge and dishwasher, gas stove, washer and dryer, new carpet, fresh paint, window coverings, a pool, hot tub and gym (the pool is open 24 hours, but the gym is only open during business hours). Plus, the management and maintenance staff are professional, kind and friendly - I can't complain about them. more ... hide ...
