My mom lived at Cedars 2 for nearly 13 years because her rent was subsidized by HUD She would have liked to have been somewhere else but the rents were too high The rent is cheaper at Cedars yes but as the saying goes You get what you pay for There My mom lived at Cedars 2 for nearly 13 years because her rent was subsidized by HUD She would have liked to have been somewhere else but the rents were too high The rent is cheaper at Cedars yes but as the saying goes You get what you pay for There were constant problems with the phone system and when her family would try to reach her for something important it was extremely frustrating calling 20 times to get through That would happen on her end too and it happened at least once a week There was a constant knocking sound in the freezer so she had to send maintenance several reports in order to get it fixed over a span of two months Her kitchen faucet leaked at the base for at least 6 months before more reports something was done about it The parking lot in the winter iswas terrible Ice around cars was an issue Considering maintenance doesnt do anything would it be too much to ask for some hand salting between the cars to keep the tenants safe The answer would be yes She wouldnt complain because she was raised at a time when you could expect people to care as she did Someone elses review was correct about people being rude and unwelcoming My mom called them lobby rats because they would sit out there and comment negatively about every person walking by As far as management Dont expect to be able to reach anyone Keleigh NEVER calls back There was one time I spoke to her and that was to get the phone number for the corporate office and she kept explaining her actions or maintenances actions refusing to give me the number I wouldnt live there for free They only see tenants as a revenue stream As long as you dont have a complaint about anything theyll treat you well Theres more but you get the gistnRest In Peace Mom more ...hide ...

The unprofessional management here makes calling Kelly pointless, as she never answers. This has been a source of frustration, as it could be a matter of importance. This has been a source of frustration, as it could be a matter of importance. Additionally, the residents are rude and drama-filled; they made my grandmother feel terrible 99% of the time, so she stopped leaving her house. If you're looking for a place for your loved one where communication is valued and respected, this is not it; furthermore, its upkeep isn't comparable to that of other senior living homes. We visited another home (not mentioning), and it was stunningly welcoming - everybody said hello - plus the management was extremely kind.more ...hide ...

Im not very satisfied with this management. The apartment is nice, but theres a lot of hoops to jump through to be able to rent from here. Every year when its time to renew your lease all the hoops pop up again.
