My two 87-year-old parents were admitted to Braemar on December 7th, 2020, and the process was complicated even further due to Covid. Physician forms needed to be filled out, and then the nurse administrator had to assess them via Zoom. Braemar stated they could take care of both of them, even though my mother had dementia and was a fall risk. Her doctor had detailed her care needs, yet Braemar still sent her to the hospital for dehydration after just two weeks, and then to a nursing home. Emotional disturbance was caused as they called us frequently to discuss my mother's care. Even worse, the day we dropped them off, the staff were already talking about her long-term care. There was no social worker communication with us, and my father witnessed his wife being wheeled out by EMTs with no one speaking to him. Absolutely NOT a place for memory impaired clients They tell you you are a good fit but leave them out of all activities and have you sit in your room Clients have to navigate through a crowded dining area and never asked to participate in anything I Absolutely NOT a place for memory impaired clients They tell you you are a good fit but leave them out of all activities and have you sit in your room Clients have to navigate through a crowded dining area and never asked to participate in anything If you get sick you are in trouble unless you have family member there every day and sometimes twice a day If you are looking for independent place that accepts Medicaid this is the place for youThe folks in the PT dept were good and most aides were very nice HOWEVER the so called medical staff is sub par and just techs The head nurse is dismissive and fake My loved one had such a bad infection that she needed up in hospital for 8 days with us telling them to please have her looked at We finally had to call ambulance We never returned there more ... hide ...

Im a bus driver I just pick people up here but the place seems very nice and clean and the people love it here
