I attempted to explain that my husband works for the American government, not as a foreign diplomat, but Justin did not comprehend the distinction. Consequently, they refused to rent to us, despite the fact that I clarified we are not diplomats. I have been attempting to receive a refund of the online application fee since the application allowed us to submit a corporate lease, yet Justin said they do not accept these. It is very disrespectful, especially considering my husband's service in a war zone. What is more, Justin does not seem to understand the difference between international diplomats and United States government foreign service officers. Additionally, it is illegal to discriminate based on nationality, making their denial of diplomats to apply and live in the apartment building unlawful.more ...hide ...
