I would not recommend this place to anyone and the office lady needs fired. I€™m 21 I have 2 kids and I€™m currently living with a friend because my ex beat me and even tho he was on the no trespassing list kept showing up at my old home and breaking in to beat me and cops did nothing because there was no proof and the lady straight laughed at me pretty much and said it€™s not my ex€™s fault I had to move and didn€™t sound like she believed me when I told her my old places wants me to give them $100 for having to paint and that i don€™t know why they had to paint because I kept the apartment spotless.more ...hide ...
I give Colonial Terrace a one-star rating because it is advertised as a Section 8 housing development created to help those who can't afford the full rent for a home. However, I was denied because I had been late on rental and utility payments in the past with other landlords. The property in question was a full rental priced place at $550 a month, plus an additional $100 for utilities. As a single mother of two on a bi-weekly paycheck of little over $700, I could not keep up with the payments and bills. When an issue occurred and the rent money was taken out of the following paycheck, the property management office refused my payment. Colonial Terrace did not take into account my situation as a single parent trying to make ends meet with two growing children. Now that I am unemployed, I can't even try to get a place there. I am looking for work but with the high cost of rentals in this town, I won't be able to afford it. Thus, I gave Colonial Terrace a one-star rating because they do not appear to help those in need.more ...hide ...
