Ive only been here a little over three months and Im very pleased so far. Management is very professional & empathetic. The building is maintained well and the grounds are exceptional --- it looks like a golf course! TheIve only been here a little over three months and Im very pleased so far. Management is very professional & empathetic. The building is maintained well and the grounds are exceptional --- it looks like a golf course! The tenants are neighborly and theres lots of activities to get involved with. Access to the medical community and shopping isnt a problem either. If youre a senior and/or disabled and looking for a nice apartment home in a great area, I highly recommend this place.more ...hide ...

This was our first experience living on our own. I have given this place high praise since weve been here, but its starting to really go downhill. These are old apartments so I understand not everything will be perfect. But YESTERDAY we had no water. All of the apartments because new owners didnt pay the water bill?!?!?! This isnt the first time weve had no water in our apartment usually its just block 6 though. Old apartments, theres going to be problems, it usually comes back in after a couple of hours. It took all day yesterday! Parking here is terrible. There are no lines so people just park however they want with no consideration of others. Bugs are coming back. I dont think they do pest control anymore. Ive heard snakes can come up behind the apartments from tenants who have lived here longer. They advertise the pool as an amenity but it hasnt been up a while and they arent planning on working on it anytime soon. The office will not mail anything for you. They wont take mail and give it to the mail person for you. You have to drop it off somewhere in town. I put a piece of paper in our mailbox asking the person to take our mail we needed sent off taped in the mail box so it was the first thing they saw when they opened it up and they still wouldnt. Weve had a back up in our disposal before. Filled the sink with nasty stuff because of another apartment because theyre all connected. If you run heating/ac your bill will be well over $100 more like $150 and we are real energy savers. We dont even leave the microwave plugged in overnight. We unplug everything. Grass took forever to get cut. These are just a couple of things to think about. the price wasnt bad until we started not getting what we were paying for. And there raising prices with new tenants? I think we have great neighbors. Never had a problem with anyone. Everyone keeps to themselves. You have a disposal, dishwasher that halfway works, good size bedrooms, new fans, washer and dryer hookups, laundromat (but people will take your clothes out while washing and put there clothes in) 5 closets through house, tiny patio, diverse. If youre just moving out of your parents house ,its affordable. Ive loved living here but I know many are leaving right now and we will soon also. When we first got ere the owners and everything was great, but these are the 3rd owners weve had since weve been here and theyre not keeping it up. Serious water issue on our block, like once a week and then no one had water yesterday. Its not terrible but its getting worse.more ...hide ...
