I called , on Friday , still waiting on a call back ÂÂŽÂŹ On Saturday I drove to the complex . We could not find any one on site but I did see some teenager blocking one of the drive way from the old ringold road . So we went around . It looks nice for a semi new place . But the parking lot was is dirty , those teenagers , also were up to no good . This complex needs Serious attention, and the tenets also . We went back around 3:30 pm it was worst . I am so grI want to update my review as somehow actually through Ms Ebony getting me in touch with Ms Rivers they listened. Made me feel confident, comfortable concerning my apt issues that effect me would be addressed. I am so grateful they gave me complete confidence they will take care and I can put my worries out of my mind. I have no doubt slept well especially as the kitchen faucet leak was taken care of before the pipe burst causing a catastrophe! That I dont have to be concerned totally response to requests or reports of incidents. Good apts, residents for the most part. Parking isnt really safe even though fenced in supposed to be video recording but getting to see when incidents occur is near impossible. If they could give Jeff authority he knows pretty much everything about residents, policies. The social worker needs pay enough to initiate a life skills assessment and classes for new residents. From what I see our social workers authority and support just isnt being budgeted for. They along with Jeff should participate in interviews and needs of applicants rather than a secretary rubber stamping anyone in order to fill vacancies that makes it seem like theyre doing well. Jeff, social worker have the best interest for everyone. good intent but their hands are restricted. Ms Ebony, Ms Rivers can only go with what staff report. Just the way life is, prayer is always a comfort in getting through all of life. Moving here it was a great place but politically, financially are most important for powers that be currently. Its now the end of the line for being no longer part of homeless and criminal justice persons, services. Public housing is now responsible for taking them in. Without the financial resources to train people how to live normally. Part of acceptance for housing social worker should have life skills classes for potential residents before moving in. Many have substance abuse, legal problems, lack mental capacity to live unsupervised, live in survival mode. Social services in simple teaching life skills isnt provided, although needed evaluated before settling in.Many residents are known to leave bodily fluids in elevators, halls, walkways. People frequently bring in bedbugs, etc... We dont have routine exterminator service which would help deter the spread of bedbugs, roach infestations. The staff and maintenance still serve here. I now understand public housing, why its considered a plight on any community. I also understand commenting here could jeopardize my right to address issues putting myself in situation unlawfully to lose my apt. These need addressed, resolution, problem solving. Make senior housing a safe, affordable, peaceful residence in our senior years like it was first few years here. Help those that dont know how to live, with a mandatory life skills classes, mental health, addiction, legal problems with probation whatever the case may be. Have services, classes available, signed up for prior to moving in. Frequent inspections would deter potential infestations, etc.. being spread. Give the staff here support services, access, financial compensation for putting not only themselves but potentially carrying anything here home to their families.more ...hide ...
