I highly suggest you do not move there, and take the time to look up the other 86 communities owned by the Landmark Group to be sure you don't move into any of them. Our air conditioning system failed to operate correctly for the entire duration of our stay, despite the many service calls made for it. To make matters worse, our tires were cut just after we moved in and the next day, our car was keyed and covered in childish scribbles. As we had not had the opportunity to meet anyone in the area, it could not have been someone with a vendetta. The property owners have not put security cameras in the parking lot, so it has been impossible to identify the perpetrator. Children were often left unsupervised, screaming, and leaving their bikes and scooters strewn in the parking lot overnight. If confronted, these kids would become aggressive and use profanity. On top of all this, the owners refused to provide us with an air conditioning system that functioned properly. Avoid any property owned by these people at all costs.more ...hide ...

Today, I come out of my DYING patients apartment to find my vehicle on a tow truck. When I asked why I was being towed, I was directed to the apartment manager, who blamed the DYING PATIENT and her family, for not telling me that I needed a pass. Mind you, this is an unlined parking lot with an entire ROW of vacant spots, so it€™s not as if, I was taking a numbered spot or the last spot in the lot. The manager said that there was nothing that she could do because my vehicle was on the truck. Well I doubt that. So, $129 later, I get my vehicle off the truck that is still in apartment parking lot.Mam, I hope that you don€™t ever have the stress of taking care of a dying loved one. I can ASSURE you that the last thing that you might think about, is telling all the hospice staff that they need to park on the street!!! And speaking for a hospice nurse, when I am rushing to an emergency, I sure wasn€™t paying attention to the extremely small sign low to ground, that I needed a pass!!! Unbelievable! 30 minutes I used a piece of pavement!!!!Just so everyone is clear, the parking lot is never at even 50% capacity while I am there and I plan to post pictures regularly. There is one small sign, which I have NEVER NOTICED DUE TO ITS SMALL SIZE IN THE 10 months I have been seeing this patient. I contacted a fellow nurse who calls on this patient to WARN THEM and he also said that he has never seen the small sign, which I will also post a picture of.The point being, my car was still there!! I came out from my JOB and was treated like a second class citizen! There is such a thing as common decency and working with people on a case by case basis. Maybe customer service is not your forte. Where I am from, the customer is always right and one might think that you would like to make a good impression for future referrals! Silly me. Please, accept my most sincere apologies for taking time out of your busy day!more ...hide ...
