Noticed a lot young thugs and homeless with backpacks roaming the property on all floors Definitely not safe wont be renting here oh also the mailboxes have been broken into half a dozen times and security gates dont even need a code
Well she aint perfect BUT she is home I have lived in a lot of places in my life and I dont think any apartment is perfect The gates are broken most of the time but you cant blame the office girls or them maintenance boys really People over 55 have Well she aint perfect BUT she is home I have lived in a lot of places in my life and I dont think any apartment is perfect The gates are broken most of the time but you cant blame the office girls or them maintenance boys really People over 55 have vision problems because they keep hitting the gates and causing the issues The maintenance man is slow and I mean SLOW but he does get the job done when he shows up I like Iris and Lisa They always are ready with a smile and a hello I dont see Iris as much as Lisa but thats not a problem Lisa is very personable and she is always there to make you feel special She makes everyone feel welcome There are some cantankerous people who live here and they arent always nice to the office girls but somehow they always keep their cool when dealing with these knuckleheads I often sit back and have a good chuckle and go about my business Its not a bad deal living here for a 55 and older spot Its a great place to have that one last home before you forget how to wipe your but or forget where home is I like it anywaymore ...hide ...

We are currently experiencing a scary situation at Village Collinwood our security gates have been broken at my building since I moved in in May Two gates one on either side of the building one broken in closed position for my first 3 monthsthen LabWe are currently experiencing a scary situation at Village Collinwood our security gates have been broken at my building since I moved in in May Two gates one on either side of the building one broken in closed position for my first 3 monthsthen Labor Day weekend all gates were disabled in the open position for the hurricane and on Oct 23rd they are still in the open position allowing for neighborhood drug deals in the parking lot to be an often times a day occurrence our dumpsters overfilled by any truck that happens to drive by etc When you combine that with the drug dealing by the family of the residents it makes for a scary situation for seniorsnnThe really frightening thing is this is a 55 and up complex One resident in a one bedroom in building 6 has currently 4 young men living with her She says one is her son two are nephews and one a friend All sleeping on the floor I have complained to management 15 days ago about it and yet the noise and the commotion in the parking lot outside my window just gets worse They are constantly showing up driving different cars and coming and going at all hours and drinking in the parking lotnnI used to get my exercise by walking the floors perimeters but these thugs hang out in the back of the building with no thought to the noise of concerns of the residents and management is either unwilling or unable to affect a solution to this I am disabled and elderly and feel I should be able to walk here without fear of engaging these young punksnnI was told only seniors seniors with custody of grandchildren or a family member acting as caregiver are the only ones allowed Right now I am living in a nest of gangbangers and thugs and the resident where they are staying has been hospitalized more than in actual residence here so WHAT GIVESnnUntil this situation is resolved Id check out the other properties available for yourself or a loved one as this is an UNSAFE situation and its only getting worse In making my complaint to management I asked her to address these problems and let me know what she is going to do Many residents here have also complained so today a I am sending a letter to the corporate office to document this situation and lay the groundwork for legal actionsmore ...hide ...
